i thought it was the best episode this season. and from my icon, you can probably tell that i’m a fan =)
i feel like season 5 has been kind of out of touch lately. not so much funny stuff, and they’re not really addressing problems we want to hear about. also, have you noticed that jim and pam have never really gotten into an argument? like, i mean i know pam got a little pissed when jim talked to her dad and told him “the wrong thing” but she wasn’t really angry. and in season 2, she gets mad at him a few times, but that’s way before they started dating. idk i just noticed that and as much as i love them, it kind of bothers me. what do you think?
as for why the episode was after the superbowl, i believe every year they have a show come after the big game and since the office was doing so well, they made an agreement to show an episode. i think it was just like a treat to the fans. its like, get a great steelers/cardinals game and then have a laugh with your favorite characters from the office =)

I thought Stress Relief was hilarious. I agree, season five hasn’t been too funny but this definitely made up for all those episodes. I was looking forward to this episode but figured maybe I’d build myself up for it and it wouldn’t be that great. I was wrong. Dwight’s practice fire simulation had me in tears. Michael’s roast was pretty funny and I thought that the Pam and Jim thing was pretty cute.. I don’t know what else to say on that..
I didn’t think that whole Jessica Alba, Jack Black and other guest star part was necessary. They could have just cut that out completely like someone mentioned.. The movie itself was too stupid to even be funny but whatever, that’s not important.
I’m a huge fan of The Office and in my opinion this episode was one of the best ones and there’s many on my list. This episode didn’t disappoint and did not fail to keep me laughing throughout the entire episode.

Great the writers finally go there heads out of there asses and made a good episode. I have been so sick of season 5! Nothing like 2-3 its just been crap no humor focused on relationships. aww horrible I feel its making a come back tho, especially tonight

First of, the episode didn’t have any guest stars (in my opinion), and the episode rocked! I really loved the cold opener. Kevin smashing open the vending machine was pure hilarity!

I thought it was a good episode, but far from the best. I thought the roasting part was great and was that classic funny but at the same time sad type of scene. I thought the stuff with the fire was a little too over the top and not in keeping with the usual tone of the show (not to say The Office never gets that broad because it does sometimes). The stuff with the Pirated movie (which had the guest stars) was totally pointless and should have been cut. The Jim/Pam storyline was awful.
